Scope
This notice describes the NOUR Beauty Egypt mobile preview. You can read beauty guides, explore sample products, keep optional local preferences and a wedding date, and test local reminders on a supported installed app. Accounts, checkout, paid memberships and Bridal Gift entries are not available. We will update this notice before enabling those services.
Choices that stay on your device
The app stores your language, saved sample products, demonstration bag quantities, optional beauty preferences, wedding date, preview bridal tier, reward state and promotion-status preview on your device. These choices are not a medical diagnosis. Native storage uses iOS Keychain or Android encrypted storage. A browser preview keeps choices only for that session.
Your name and profile photo
You can choose a first name or nickname and a profile photo for your personal welcome. Both are optional. Photos are cropped to a small display thumbnail on your device, not analysed or uploaded. On installed apps, your name is stored separately in OS secure storage and the thumbnail is kept in private app cache; the system may clear it to free space. Browser preview details remain in memory and disappear on reload. Change or remove your photo, clear your name and photo in My Account, or use Clear local data. This does not create an account or sync information with the website. The website has a separate optional name greeting saved for that browser tab only.
Published beauty guides
The app downloads NOUR’s public English and Arabic beauty guides from nourbeautyegypt.com when it opens, when it returns to the foreground after a short interval, or when you refresh the reading library. A public reading copy is cached on the device for offline use. These requests do not include your account details, beauty answers, photos or credentials. The website host receives ordinary connection information needed to serve the request, such as an IP address. The reading cache contains public articles only and is separate from personal preferences.
Notifications and reminders
Cart and points reminders are optional local notifications scheduled on your device only after you choose a reminder and the operating system grants permission. The app stores your reminder choices and preferred time locally. Turning a reminder off cancels its scheduled notification. This preview does not register a push token or send reminder data to a NOUR server. Email reminders are not active. If scheduling or cancellation fails, the app shows a warning and lets you retry. You can also disable NOUR notifications in device settings. Browser previews do not send notifications.
Account and Bridal Gift preview
Accounts are not open in this preview. Sign-in and registration forms are hidden, and the app does not ask for an account password, shipping address or birthday. You can explore guides and set optional beauty preferences and a wedding date without an account. A future live account service will require a revised notice before activation. The Bridal Gift remains disabled; previewing a tier does not create an entry or chance to win.
What the app accesses
The app reads device language to select English or Arabic at first launch. You may open the system photo-library picker to choose an optional profile photo. It does not request camera, microphone, contacts or location access and contains no customer advertising or tracking SDK.
Keeping and clearing choices
Your choices remain locally until you clear them using My NOUR → Clear local data. Clearing removes saved items, bag, beauty preferences, wedding date, preview bridal tier, reminder preferences and promotion-status preview while keeping your language selection. iOS Keychain entries can survive uninstalling the app, so clear data in the app before uninstalling. If clearing fails, the app tells you and lets you retry.
When you contact us
Email opens your email application; NOUR does not send anything automatically or attach app data. If you send a message, NOUR and the email services involved receive the address, message and attachments you choose to send. Avoid passwords, card details and sensitive personal information. Contact purchasing@nourbeautyegypt.com to request access to or deletion of support correspondence, subject to necessary legal and business retention.
Apple, Expo and test distribution
Apple, TestFlight, Expo Go and your operating system may process diagnostics, account information or test feedback under their own notices. Apple is not a sponsor of or involved with the planned Bridal Gift promotion. This preview does not add its own analytics.
