The NOUR ritual
Prepare, cleanse, exfoliate gently, rinse, moisturize.
- Prepare. Patch-test every new cosmetic 7–10 days in advance. Use comfortably warm water and follow each label.
- Cleanse. Apply black soap to damp body skin as directed, then rinse completely.
- Exfoliate gently. If tolerated, use the kessa with light pressure on the body only.
- Optional clay. Mix and use rhassoul only as its verified label directs, then rinse.
- Restore moisture. Pat dry and apply a familiar moisturizer or verified body oil to slightly damp skin.
Bridal timing and safety: Plan the first trial 2–4 weeks before the wedding. Do not use a kessa on the face, irritated or broken skin, or skin that was just shaved or waxed. Stop if the skin stings. During pregnancy, avoid overheating and prolonged steam; choose a comfortably warm shower and ask your obstetric clinician about specific products.
