Required company disclosure before sales
The following information is not finalized and must be inserted before checkout opens:
- registered Egyptian legal name and legal form;
- registered business and customer-service address;
- commercial registration number and issuing office;
- tax registration number and VAT status;
- customer-service telephone number and complaint response hours;
- the contracting seller shown on every order and receipt.
Legal framework
These drafts are designed around Egypt’s Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018, Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020, Egyptian Tax Authority requirements, and Egyptian Drug Authority cosmetics requirements. They require review by Egyptian counsel, NOUR’s tax adviser and the responsible data-protection professional before retail activation.
